That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Sonic Boom.

Yerbooty comes into a darkened arena with his song building. ABK - Kill Me kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Shamil Basaev had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 186.0lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Shamil Basaev has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Well Fields has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
