Santos throws a left and a right that both miss
and Carter counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Santos takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Santos shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Santos is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Carter still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Carter has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Carter remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

The crowd cheers as Morgan lands an impressive looking overhand right. Masiero doesn't seem phased though.

It looks like Ettore Masiero has been cut.
Morgan is pawing at Masiero, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Masiero's nose. Masiero is badly hurt! Morgan pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Masiero tries desperately to hold on but Morgan is relentless in his assault! As Masiero receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Morgan away and this one is in the books!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Scott Morgan!
