Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kid Yamamoto!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Ivan Kurochkin and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Funkyama checks the leg kick nicely there.
Funkyama throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Yamamoto walks into a jab.
Funkyama doesn't manage to clinch there - Yamamoto circles away.
Funkyama cracks a nice hook into Yamamoto's ribs.
Yamamoto misses the jab.
Funkyama goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Funkyama throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Yamamoto sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Yamamoto takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Yamamoto is rocked!
Yamamoto is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Funkyama doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Yamamoto crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Yamamoto's bad books for that mishap!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Prince Funkyama!
A very excited looking Prince Funkyama made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.

Chernov drops his hands momentarily and Sai takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Sai drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Sai is looking to stand up but Chernov won't let him.
Chernov manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
