The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brookins throws a head kick but McGee moves out of range.
McGee looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
A looping hook to the body misses from Brookins. McGee does a little dance to reset his feet.

McGee scores with a takedown into Brookins's guard.

Brookins escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. McGee gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Brookins is trying to control the position from the bottom.

McGee is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Brookins has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. McGee is looking to defend but Brookins has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for McGee! Brookins pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, McGee taps out and this one is all over!

Jones feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
