The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chayem throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ware.

Evans decides to stand up, so the ref orders Worner to his feet.
Evans throws a head kick that Worner semi-blocks.
Worner has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Evans.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Evans.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Evans tries to clinch up but Worner circles away and keeps his distance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maimer dodges the punch combination from Darko.
Maimer slips a jab and a cross from Darko.
Maimer takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

It looks like Hippo Maimer has been cut.

Darko lands a left and a right that send Maimer crashing to the mat, dazed. Darko thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Darko will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Maimer fails with a takedown attempt.
Maimer slips a jab and a cross from Darko.
Darko throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Maimer on the side of the head.
A jab from Darko does it's job there.

That has opened up Hippo Maimer's cut even more.

Darko cracks Maimer with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Maimer looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Darko finish him?

Maimer is rocked!
Darko tries to bum rush Maimer with a series of wild strikes but Maimer uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Darko weaves into range and cracks Maimer right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Maimer goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Darko is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.

Maldonado goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Berg has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Maldonado but great work by Berg.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Maldonado is trying to work for a sweep but Berg has mounted him!

Berg bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Maldonado's guard.

Maldonado takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Berg connects with the punch.
Maldonado needs to keep his hands up - Berg had a free shot at his head there.
Berg cracks Maldonado with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Maldonado falls to his knees and Berg doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
