The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Long comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Long tries to work over Hoost's front leg with a kick but Hoost checks it.
Long scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Long swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Long is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Long misses with the combination.
Long shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

It looks like Frank Long has been cut.

Long rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hoost moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Bustamante waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Cox.
Cox lands a body shot.
Bustamante tries a head kick but it misses.
A looping hook to the body misses from Cox. Bustamante does a little dance to reset his feet.
Cox feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Bustamantes jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Cox thows a body shot but no joy.
Bustamante moves away from the strike by Cox.
Bustamante dives in and grabs Cox's left leg, looking for a takedown. Cox pushes down on Bustamante's head and hops out.

Bustamante closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Cox's guard.
Bustamante might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Bustamante postures up in Cox's guard and throws a big left but Cox blocks it.

Bustamante drops back looking for a leg! Cox is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cox manages to kick Bustamante off! Bustamante jumps back into Cox's guard.
Bustamante in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Cox trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Cox is trying to control the position but Bustamante postures up.
Cox wants to stand and escape but Bustamante is having none of it.
Cox really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bustamante. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Bustamante is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Bustamante working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Bustamante distracts Cox with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Cox wants to stand up but Bustamante is controlling him.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bustamante throws a big elbow that misses.
Bustamante connects with a couple of short punches.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Cox tries to buck Bustamante off but Bustamante is having none of it.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Cox can do anything to dispel that myth.
Bustamante lands a strong strike to the head of Cox. That's dazed him! Bustamante looking to finish here. Cox is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Bustamante lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
