Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chu Park (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Holmes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jon Holmes was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Park wants to clinch up but Holmes keeps it at a distance.
Holmes cracks Park with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Holmes throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Park tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Holmes is in Park's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Steel is working for takedown but Ken is calmly controlling the position for now.
Steel is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Nice body punch from Ken.
Steel jumps guard but Ken stands there with Steel around his waist. Steel gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Ken works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Steel looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ken wanted to stand there but Steel had control of the position.

Steel is looking to sinch up a triangle. Ken throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Steel's body to avoid the submission. Steel has instead reached around Ken's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Steel arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
