The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva shoots in looking for a takedown but Robinson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Silva's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Robinson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Will Robinson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Robinson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Silva moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

He's trying desperately to grab hold of Robinson around the waist but Robinson pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Robinson is the winner by TKO! Robinson jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Humble Bman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Masterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bman kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Ramones - Spiderman. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Cortez shoots in and bounces Spooner off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Cortez drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Cortez jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Cortez accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Livre enables Nakara to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Livre manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Livre had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Nakara defends it easily.
