Coming up we have a featherweight kickboxing rules bout between Mitchell Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Barboza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barboza has chosen Words i Never Say - Lupe Fiasco ft Skylar Grey as his entrance music. Mitchell Jones had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 146.0lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Simpson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Riddle paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Simpson shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Riddle smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Simpson crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Riddle - the referee stops the clock and Simpson gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Riddle. Simpson manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Chuck Simpson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Riddle scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Riddle connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Riddle throws a front kick to the face that drops Simpson face first to the mat! Oh, he's in big trouble! He's stumbling all over the place and has face planted into the ropes, causing the referee to call an end to the fight! What a finish!

Maxis tries to work over Bryant's front leg with a kick but Bryant checks it.
Bryant connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

It looks like Ludvig Maxis has been cut.

and Bryant makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Maxis blocks a low kick nicely.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Maxis throws a chopping leg kick but Bryant manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Maxis attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
A bone on bone clash there as Bryant blocks the leg kick.

and Bryant counters with a big uppercut that drops Maxis face first to the mat! Will he beat the count?! He's struggled up to his knees on 7 but it doesn't look like he's going to make it... he's been counted out! This fight is all over!

In his post fight interview, Jacoby Bryant started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
