Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jade Malikai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Taylor Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Malikai comes to the cage accompanied by Big in Japan - Guano Apes. Taylor Johnson struggled to make weight for this fight. McDiggler throws a push kick but Low slaps the foot to one side.
Low looks to land a combination but McDiggler avoids it well.
A punch lands to the side of McDiggler 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Low closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. McDiggler did well to prevent Low getting side control.

McDiggler pushes Low off and gets back to his feet.
McDiggler shoots in and drives through. Low sprawls well.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Low throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on McDiggler's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Low dives in looking to finish as McDiggler flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Low's strikes! Low is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! McDiggler's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but McDiggler was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
