The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barrera closes the distance and clinches up with Lens, looking for a takedown. Barrera pushes Lens against the cage but Lens circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
No luck for Lens with that takedown attempt.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Barrera can do anything to dispel that myth.

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ule Brennerd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tito Ortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ule Brennerd had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 206.8lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. The key to victory for Ule Brennerd has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.
