The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McDanver throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Penn was covering up waiting for the punch and McDanver finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Penn has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. McDanver is working away from the top position though.
McDanver thows a huge punch but Penn dodges it nicely.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Latrell moves into the clinch.
Scarret makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Latrell has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Scarret is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Scarret putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Latrell in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Scarret presses Latrell against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Scarret landing knees to the body.
Latrell is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Latrell jumps guard but Scarret stands there with Latrell around his waist. Latrell gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Scarret lands with a short punch from the clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Latrell drops down looking for an ankle pick but Scarret pulls his leg out and moves away.
Aeron Scarret has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Corbin Latrell.
Scarret punishes Latrell's body with a nice straight punch.

Scarret cracks Latrell with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Latrell looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Scarret finish him?

Latrell is rocked!
Latrell drops his hands momentarily and Scarret needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Latrell just on the top of the head. Latrell drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Latrell - he's done!
