The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Szybki misses with a double jab
and Nsumba counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

It looks like Arczi Szybki has been cut.
Szybki throws a right and a left that Nsumba avoids nicely.
A looping hook to the body misses from Nsumba. Szybki does a little dance to reset his feet.
Szybki misses with a jab, cross combination.
Nsumba uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Szybki has time to react.
Nsumba connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Szybki gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Nsumba gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Szybki is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raszki is looking to land body kicks.
Raszki throws a nice looking combination but Hunt bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Hunt throws a leg kick but Raszki moved away.
Hunt throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hunt throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Hunt misses with a wild body shot.
Hunt misses with a double jab.
Hunt swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Hunt misses with a head kick.
Raszki will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Hunt tries to work over Raszki's front leg with a kick but Raszki checks it.
Hunt scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Mike Hunt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Raszki really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hunt. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Hunt looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Raszki with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Hunt is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Hunt takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

It looks like Tomko Raszki has been cut.

Hunt postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Raszki in real trouble here! The ref calls for Raszki to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

Riley fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hawk, pushing him back against the ropes.
Hawk looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Riley throws an elbow that misses.
Hawk wants to take the fight to the mat but Riley manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Riley throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Riley looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Riley pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the ropes.
Riley creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
With the two fighters working up against the ropes, Riley just misses with a elbow thrown towards Hawk's brow.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hawk is looking for a sweep. Riley is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hawk looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Riley is fending him off so far but Hawk persists. Nope, Riley circles away and we're back to standing.
Riley moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Hawk fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Riley avoids it really well and circles away.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tony Hawk.
Well Riley has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Lance tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Mint tries to bum rush Lance with a series of wild strikes but Lance uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Mint on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Lance. Lance obviously looking to wear him down.
Lance throws a jab when Mint was well out of range.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Lance clinches up against the ropes.
Lance lands a shot to the body.
Lance lands a hook to the side of the head.

Lance is working on a single leg takedown against the ropes. Mint can't fight it off and eventually Lance manages to take the fight to the floor. Mint looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Lance wants to stand but Mint has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Lance looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Mint with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Mint has a hand on Lance's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Lance takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Mint steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Lance. That one must have hurt.
Mint uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lance.
Mint throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Lance on the side of the head.

Mint throws a right and a left that Lance avoids nicely.

Well Lance has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
