The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bell but Bell pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Bell fails in his attempt to clinch.
That kick from Bell tenderised Jackson's leg. Jackson is trying to keep his angry face on.
Jackson chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Bell can pounce on him.
Jackson blocks a head kick by Bell.
Bell tries to clinch but Jackson is having none of it.
Bell throws a head kick that misses.
Bell tries to clinch up but Jackson circles away and keeps his distance.

Bell gets caught flat footed, as Jackson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Jackson is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bell wants to stand and escape but Jackson is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bell pushes Jackson off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Jackson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bell tries to avoid it but Jackson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bell to the ground. Bell escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Bell is looking to clinch.
Jackson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Bell lands a big head kick that sends Jackson tumbling to the mat! Bell takes a step backwards and waves Jackson back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Jack Jackson has been cut.

Bell drops Jackson with a big knee straight up the middle! Jackson is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Look low, kick high! Bell uses the oldest trick in the book to send Jackson tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Bell is absolutely delighted - when Jackson wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!

Connors throws a nice looking combination but Johnson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Connors moves into range and clinches up with Johnson.
Connors is trying to break the clinch but Johnson has him pressed against the cage.

Johnson goes for a takedown attempt but Connors pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Johnson is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Connors can't fight it off and eventually Johnson manages to take the fight to the floor. Connors looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Connors wants to get back to his feet but Johnson is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Johnson swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Connors is now in Johnson's guard. A big mistake from Johnson there, giving up the dominant position!

That was a close round but I would say that Rashuan Johnson will probably get the nod.

Connors lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
