Highty tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Turk counters with a shoot takedown. Highty fights it but they end up in guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Highty wants to get back to his feet but Turk is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Turk is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Highty is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Highty seems keen to control Turk's posture.
Turk forces his way into half guard.
Turk content to control rather than advance.

Turk seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Highty for as long as he can get away with.

Turk is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Highty looks calm but he's in trouble here. Turk gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Highty is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Turk lets go of the hold and Highty can pop his arm back in it's socket.

De Lait lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Silva or not.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Silva. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
