Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, WIlliam Bob!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ron Sparks!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bob lands with a nice combination. Sparks backs away looking to recover.
Bob feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Sparkss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Bob slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Sparks is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Bob.
Sparks takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sparks tries for a takedown but Bob circles away easily
and Bob counters with a head kick. That will keep Sparks thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Sparks shoots in but Bob avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Ron Sparks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bob throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Sparks looks to land a combination but Bob avoids it well.
Sparks will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Sparks shoots in looking for a takedown but Bob manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sparks's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
WIlliam Bob has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ron Sparks.
Bob tests Sparks's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Sparks throws a right hand that Bob ducks under and follows up with a left that Bob also avoids with ease.

Sparks takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Sparks is rocked!

It looks like Ron Sparks has been cut.
Bob gets in close and tags Sparks with a short punch that almost sends Sparks to the mat! Oh Sparks is in big trouble! He turns his back on Bob, trying to create some distance but Bob rushes him, striking wildly and Sparks goes down! The referee tackles Bob into the cage to end the fight! Bob is one violent man!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). WIlliam Bob!
In his post fight interview, WIlliam Bob gave a big smile as he said 'I want to thank everyone that hasn't given up on me. I'm in here putting boots to asses. I'm going to go down swinging and take every one with me. Thank you Let'er Buck for the great camp. The last Jake Baby!!!'.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bias sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Bias looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Jones scores with a head kick. Bias tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Jones lands a head kick!

Bias gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Jones to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Bias is looking for a triangle here but Jones uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jones wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bias, who protects the arm well.
Bias avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Jones.
Jones wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bias keeps working.
Bias wants to control but Jones postures up.

Jones tries for a kimura but Bias is defending well.
Bias gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Jones postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Bias looks a forlorn figure.

Jones is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Jones shoots for a takedown but Bias saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Jones.
Jones shoots for a double leg takedown but Bias sprawls well. He's pushed Jones's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Jones stands and throws Bias's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Jones shoots in for a double leg but Bias sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Jones is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Bias has managed to free his arm - good work.
Jones passes to side control.
You can see the frustration on Bias's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Bias prevents Jones from moving into mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jones is looking to take a break and control but Bias is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Jones decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Jones manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Bias on his heels. He'll look to pass Bias's guard now, I'm sure.
Bias thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Bias had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jones defends it easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Eddie Jones dominated that round.

Bias leaves Jones with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Fernandes gets caught flat footed, as Matic shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Matic trying to control the position from guard on top but Fernandes is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Fernandes knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Matic on the ground.

Matic advances position into side control!
Matic in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

Matic is working to tighten is grip on Fernandes's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Fernandes has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Matic is really squeezing tight and eventually Fernandes passes out! Matic breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Bear kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Jethro Tull- Locomotive Breath . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Bear closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Bear throws a punch but it's blocked by Daedalus.

Bear is trying to push Daedalus away but Daedalus has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Daedalus breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Daedalus is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Daedalus hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
