Phillips throws a left and a right that both miss
and Verchanko counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Phillips thinking.

and Verchanko counters with a nice body shot.
Verchanko misses with the combination.
Some wild striking there from Verchanko.
Verchanko moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

It looks like Dave Phillips has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Phillips fails to land with a series of punches.
Phillips throws a series of punches but Verchanko moves out of range.
Phillips fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Phillips throws a right hand that Verchanko ducks under and follows up with a left that Verchanko also avoids with ease.
Verchanko cracks Phillips with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Phillips tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Verchanko pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Phillips is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ivan Verchanko!
Ivan Verchanko spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.

Miyamoto has Harris up against the cage in a clinch.
Miyamoto goes for a takedown in the clinch but Harris prevents it.

Miyamoto tightens his grip and picks Harris up, before dumping him to the ground. Harris manages to land in guard.
Miyamoto slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Harris gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Harris is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Miyamoto lands a big elbow.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Harris has left one of his arms exposed and Miyamoto doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Harris screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.

Castillion shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Garcia eats them both and turns towards Castillion to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Garcia with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Castillion to score with a decent uppercut.

Possibly an early stoppage but Allen doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Gaard really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Brown will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Brown shoots in looking for a takedown. Gaard tries to sprawl out of it but Brown keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gaard manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Keast Gaard has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rallo Brown.
Gaard shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Brown eats them both and turns towards Gaard to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Gaard scores with a sloppy right hand. Brown should have avoided that one.
Gaard jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Gaard works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Gaard lands the left hand.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Brown shoots in but Gaard avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Gaard lands a left and a right that send Brown crashing to the mat, dazed. Gaard thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Brown is rocked!
Brown looks gassed!
Gaard fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Brown is still on wobbly legs! Can Gaard finish him?
Gaard throws a front kick aimed at Brown's knee but Brown avoids it well.
Gaard throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Nice body punch from Gaard.
Brown seems to have recovered his senses.
Gaard works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

and Brown counters by clinching up.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Brown lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Gaard blocking some punches.
Gaard is trying to break free.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Gaard tries to circle away but Brown has him pinned against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Keast Gaard dominated that round.

Brown tries to clinch there but Gaard circles away.
Gaard punishes Brown's body with a nice straight punch.
Brown takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Brown takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Keast Gaard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brown fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Brown checks a leg kick.
Gaard lands a leg kick that knocks Brown off balance momentarily.
Keast Gaard is winning the standup battle so far.
Horrible takedown by Brown or perhaps it was just good defense by Gaard which made him look bad.
Gaard scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gaard lands a lovely overhand right.
Brown is breathing heavily.
Brown walks into a left hand.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gaard goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Brown displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Gaard throws out the jab.
Brown walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
BOOM! Gaard lands a beautiful left hook that drops Brown. Brown tries to recover but Gaard is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Brown lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Keast Gaard!

A very excited looking Keast Gaard rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
