Undercard bout

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Atraeu Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Neo Joker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nelson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Sail by AWOL Nation. Both fighters look pumped up here. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joker fails with the takedown
and Nelson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Nelson ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Joker closes the distance and clinches up with Nelson, looking for a takedown. Joker pushes Nelson against the cage but Nelson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Joker changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nelson tries to avoid it but Joker manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nelson to the ground. Nelson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Atraeu Nelson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Neo Joker.
Nelson dives in and grabs Joker's left leg, looking for a takedown. Joker pushes down on Nelson's head and hops out.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Joker throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Nelson's waist but Nelson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Joker off to one side.

Joker forces Nelson back against the cage and clinches.

Nelson jumps into guard, dragging Joker to the mat.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Nelson holds on and takes a little breather.

Joker is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Nelson has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Joker is looking to defend but Nelson has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Joker! Nelson pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Joker taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Atraeu Nelson!
A very excited looking Atraeu Nelson rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
yAkoi throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Sparks's head.
Sparks lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but yAkoi circles away quickly and effectively.

yAkoi slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
yAkoi tries to bum rush Sparks with a series of wild strikes but Sparks uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Sparks manages to get an easy takedown there - catching yAkoi on his heels. He'll look to pass yAkoi's guard now, I'm sure.
