The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mullard throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Vlad.
Mullard shoots in for a takedown but Vlad shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Mullard throws a series of punches but Vlad avoids them all with ease.

and Vlad counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Vlad stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mullard swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Vlad wants to control from the top but Mullard keeps moving.
Vlad throws an elbow that misses. Mullard uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Vlad's guard. Nice move by Mullard!

Vlad wants to hold on but Mullard pushes him away.

Vlad is bucking up trying to escape but Mullard cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mullard lands a big shot there that rocks Vlad but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Mullard throws some wild stikes that Vlad manages to avoid easily.
Vlad takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Mullard's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
