The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wesker takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Yuen lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

It looks like Albert Wesker has been cut.
Yuen lands a front kick.

Wesker has managed to clinch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Wesker throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Yuen's waist but Yuen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wesker off to one side.

Wesker shoots in looking for a takedown but Yuen manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Wesker's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wesker tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Yuen manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Yuen lands a big head kick that sends Wesker tumbling to the mat! Yuen takes a step backwards and waves Wesker back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Wesker tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Yuen lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Wesker is trying desperately to land a takedown but Yuen is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Wesker.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Wesker is defended easily by Yuen.

Yuen is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Yuen lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Yuen throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Yuen throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Wesker on the side of the head.
Wesker is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

The cut above Albert Wesker's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Wesker throws a wild body kick that Yuen sees coming a mile off.
The fight stays on the outside here - Wesker looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Wesker on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

and Yuen counters with a head kick that drops Wesker to the mat! Wesker scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Wesker drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Wesker with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Yuen to score with a decent uppercut.
Yuen avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Yuen bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
No luck for Wesker with that takedown attempt.
Yuen buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Wesker moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Albert Wesker's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Wesker fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Wesker shoots in for a takedown but Yuen shows good takedown defense.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Yuen fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Wesker has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Yuen feints and then cracks Wesker's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Wesker down.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Clinton closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Clinton lands in his opponent's guard.

Parker has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Clinton is really squeezing tight and eventually Parker passes out! Kelly will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Graham is looking to reverse the position.

Kelly has hold of Graham's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Graham tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Kelly cranks the arm and Graham screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Graham, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Verson fails to land the takedown.
Pan dodges the punch combination from Verson.
No luck for Verson with that takedown attempt.
Pan stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Pan wants it to stay on the feet.

Verson drops his hands momentarily and Pan takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Pan lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Verson at a distance.
Verson is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Verson has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Pan.

Verson's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Verson has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Pan.

Verson takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Pan throws a head kick but Verson moves out of range.

Pan thuds his shin into the meat of Verson's side.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Pan.
A head kick misses from Pan.
Pan connects with an inside leg kick.
Verson shoots in and drives through. Pan sprawls well.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Pan. Verson shrugs it off though.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Pan moves in looking to clinch but Verson pushes him off.
Verson walks forward, straight into a front kick from Pan.
Pan jabs Verson to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Pan lands a nice leg kick that just misses Verson's sensitive parts.
Pan goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Verson feints and as Pan raises his hands in defense, Verson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Pan pulls Verson in close to his closed guard and prevents Verson from doing any damage or advancing position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Verson working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jet Pan dominated that round.

A very excited looking Jet Pan rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
