The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shishkin bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
A right-left combo lands from Pulli.
Pulli throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Shishkin on the side of the head.
Pulli throws a lazy right hand but Shishkin sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Pulli throws a hook to the side of Shishkin's head but Shishkin sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Pulli lands with an uppercut that bounces Shishkin off the cage and back into range.

Lennon tries to bum rush Mababa with a series of wild strikes but Mababa uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Lennon scores with a shot to the body.
Lennon plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Mababa swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Mababa face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!

Azzan stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Azzan wants it to stay on the feet.
Mauricio Rua seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A punch lands to the side of Azzan 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Azzan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

That was a close round but I would say that Mauricio Rua will probably get the nod.
