The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chaos throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Gambler tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Chaos is in Gambler's guard.

Gambler has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Chaos can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Chaos connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Gambler some visible discomfort.
Chaos cracks Gambler with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Chaos immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Gambler is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Chaos !

Ortiz cracks Bot with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Ortiz gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Bot sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Ortiz's guard.
Ortiz tries to get to full guard but Bot has control of the leg.

Bot is working for a kimura but Ortiz is defending it quite comfortably.
Ortiz might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Ortiz is looking for a sweep. Bot is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Bot lands a nice short elbow.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Wazed checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Hopkins fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Hopkins swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

so Wazed counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Hopkins can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Wazed controls the pace.
Wazed seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Hopkins for as long as he can get away with.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Hopkins defending well as Wazed loads up on a big left hand.
Wazed shoots for a takedown but Hopkins saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Wazed looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hopkins is fending him off so far but Wazed persists. Nope, Hopkins circles away and we're back to standing.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Sheikh Hasina Wazed.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Wazed, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mikko Rourke.
