The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunt ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Klinefelter moves away.
Klinefelter tries a head kick but it misses.
Hunt waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Klinefelter.
Klinefelter takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Klinefelter lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Hunt has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Hunt and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Hunt closes the distance and clinches up with Klinefelter, looking for a takedown. Hunt pushes Klinefelter against the cage but Klinefelter circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Hunt lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

That was a close round but I would say that Mike Hunt will probably get the nod.

Klinefelter shoots in looking for a takedown but Hunt manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Klinefelter's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Hunt is just content to waste time from the top position. Klinefelter takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hunt accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Klinefelter controls Hunt momentarily but Hunt frees himself.
