Ceasar throws a leg kick which misses Jacksson's front leg but catches the back leg as Jacksson tries to avoid it.
Ceasar fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Jacksson.

Jacksson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Baggins closes the distance and clinches up with Smith, looking for a takedown. Baggins pushes Smith against the cage but Smith circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Smith has cracked Baggins with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Smith lands another huge swinging hook and Baggins tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Baggins, before Smith can land any more shots!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Backman throws a series of strikes that have Fairbain backpedaling.
Fairbain feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Backman's calf.
Fairbain lands with a nice body kick.
Backman jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Backman throws a looping overhand right but Fairbain ducks down to avoid it.
Fairbain tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Fairbain throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Fairbain throws a hook to the side of Backman's head but Backman sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
That kick from Fairbain tenderised Backman's leg. Backman is trying to keep his angry face on.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Schim Fairbain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fairbain turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Fairbain lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Fairbain is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
