The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter looks to land a combination but Teevie avoids it well.
Teevie lands a jab to Carter's midsection.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Carter.
Nice sprawl there from Teevie as Carter shoots in.
Teevie throws a jab when Carter was well out of range.
Carter shoots in looking for a takedown. Teevie tries to sprawl out of it but Carter keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Teevie manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shane Carter. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Carter connects with a good right hand that stumbles Teevie. Teevie circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Teevie throws a lazy right hand but Carter sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Teevie fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Carter shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Teevie pinned against the cage. Teevie gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Teevie's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Teevie duly obliges.

It looks like Shane Carter has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Carter changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Teevie tries to avoid it but Carter manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Teevie to the ground. Teevie escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Teevie throws a hook to the side of Carter's head but Carter sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Carter shoots in for a takedown but Teevie shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Carter is breathing heavily.
Teevie looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Carter shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Teevie comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Nice jab there from Teevie.
Teevie drops Carter with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Carter! Teevie dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Osorolh Darar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terry Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones has chosen Nas - Hero as his entrance music. Osorolh Darar had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.4lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Darar is on top in guard.

Jones wriggles free and stands up.

Darar tries a low kick but Jones avoids it.
Darar misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Darar walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Jones moves away from the strike by Darar.
Darar moves out of range as Jones throws a body kick.
Jones checks a low kick from Darar.
Jones throws a nice looking combination but Darar bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Jones motions for Darar to come forward. Jones throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Darar tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jones paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Jones closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Darar to the mat! Darar manages to get full guard.
Darar bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jones's guard.

Jones manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Jones unloads with some shots from mount but Darar bucks and avoids them well.
Darar in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
A nice elbow there by Jones.
Darar wants to try and get back to his feet.

Terry Jones comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Jones has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
