Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ricky Ross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Super Trooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ross comes into the arena with Let The Bodies Hit The Floor blaring out of the sound system. Trooper has chosen №1 as his entrance music. Super Trooper has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

With a record of 12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Super Trooper!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Illya Tyunina and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ross connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

It looks like Super Trooper has been cut.
Ross dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Trooper. That did some damage!
Trooper dodges the punch combination from Ross.
Ross misses with a left hand

and Trooper counters with a takedown into side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ross is looking for a sweep.

Trooper is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Ross knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Trooper is looking to take a break and control but Ross is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Trooper is working to tighten is grip on Ross's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Ross has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Trooper is really squeezing tight and eventually Ross passes out! Trooper breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Super Trooper!
Super Trooper was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
