The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice leg kick lands there from Corso.
Corso lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Molton stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Corso.
The fight stays on the outside here - Corso looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Molton tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Corso manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Molton misses with a few strikes there.

Hickey manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Vergel on his heels. He'll look to pass Vergel's guard now, I'm sure.
Vergel looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Balboa comes to the cage accompanied by Eye of the tiger. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Balboa enables Executioner to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Balboa manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Executioner drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Balboa manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Executioner has Balboa in his guard.

Executioner working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Balboa doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Executioner is tightening it up a little... Balboa has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Balboa reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Balboa taps out! Nice BJJ there by Executioner!

Horrible takedown by Paned or perhaps it was just good defense by Lumines which made him look bad.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lumines.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Lumines.
Lumines shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Paned as he avoids it easily.
Rj Paned has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jumar Lumines.

Lumines lands a big head kick that sends Paned tumbling to the mat! Lumines takes a step backwards and waves Paned back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lumines throws a powerful right kick. Paned tried to block low but the kick was high! Paned was taken right off of his feet! Lumines jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!

Ranger changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tiongson tries to avoid it but Ranger manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tiongson to the ground. Tiongson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Tiongson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
