Prestol closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jobber circles away.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boshesh throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lips's waist but Lips gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Boshesh off to one side.
Boshesh is looking to clinch.
Boshesh shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lips pinned against the cage. Lips gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Boshesh shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lips but Lips pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Thunder Lips has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kim Boshesh.
Boshesh shoots in but Lips avoids the takedown attempt easily.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Thunder Lips.
Well Lips has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
