Cargot tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gracie paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Cargot clinches with his opponent.
Gracie has Cargot pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Cargot manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Cargot tightens his grip and picks Gracie up, before dumping him to the ground. Gracie manages to land in guard.
Cargot has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Gracie is proving hard to escape from.
Cargot won't allow Gracie to sweep him here.

Gracie had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Cargot defends it easily.

Gracie is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Cargot frees his head nicely. Oh but Gracie has switched to an armbar! Cargot is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

Boyle swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Boyle scores with a one two! Sokoudjou had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Sokoudjou avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Sokoudjou lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Boyle has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Boyle and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Sokoudjou is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Boyle is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Boyle has escaped and now he's on top!

Sokoudjou has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Boyle is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Sokoudjou.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Boyle wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sokoudjou keeps working.

Boyle is looking to advance position but Sokoudjou won't allow it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sokoudjou is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Boyle's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Boyle's back!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Sokoudjou is trying to stick to Boyle's back but Boyle is turning into Sokoudjou. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Sokoudjou's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Boyle.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Dave Boyle.
I think Boyle has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
