Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steve Austin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Vera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Austin's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Motorhead-Killed by death. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Austin does no damage.
Austin throws a hook but Vera blocks it.
Austin connects with a right hand. Vera shakes it off.
Austin slaps away a takedown attempt from Vera, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Vera changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Austin tries to avoid it but Vera manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Austin to the ground. Austin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Vera should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Vera walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Vera might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Austin has got the better of the exchanges.
Austin stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Vera gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Vera tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Austin is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Vera buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Vera!! Vera is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Austin throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.

Brad Pickett will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Cws gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Pickett gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

Wong goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Wong because Xylar was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
