The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Svensson moves in looking to clinch but Kalawit pushes him off.
Svensson looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Svensson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kalawit paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Kalawit clinches up with Svensson and pushes him back against the cage.
Kalawit drops down looking for an ankle pick but Svensson pulls his leg out and moves away.
Svensson throws a nice looking combination but Kalawit bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Kalawit has taken the fight to the clinch.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Svensson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kalawit has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Svensson has managed to get both his arms back between Kalawit's legs - danger averted.

Kalawit working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Svensson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Svensson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Svensson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kalawit has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Svensson has managed to get both his arms back between Kalawit's legs - danger averted.

Kalawit is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Svensson to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Svensson shrugs it off.

Kalawit is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Svensson has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Dimasalang shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sharp as he avoids it easily.
Sharp takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Sharp takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Dimasalang closes the distance but Sharp moves to the side

and Sharp counters with a takedown into side control.

Sharp stands up.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dimasalang misses with a double jab

and Sharp counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Dimasalang is looking for a sweep. Sharp is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Sharp is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Dimasalang is trying to control but can't.

Sharp decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Dimasalang tries to sprawl but Sharp drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Dimasalang is breathing heavily.

Dimasalang is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Dimasalang is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Sharp couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Hattori rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rothschild moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Hattori will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Rothschild rushes Hattori and presses him up against the cage.

Rothschild has picked Hattori up - he's going for a ride! Rothschild dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Xavier looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Deathgrip can't hide his disappointment, as Xavier celebrates the victory.

Amongero falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Sumitani smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
