The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Rigan Gracie has been cut.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kong. Gracie does a little dance to reset his feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gibbs throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Katipunan tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Gibbs is in Katipunan's guard.

Gibbs stands up and waves to Katipunan to follow him.
Andres Katipunan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Gibbs closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Katipunan is trying to drag Gibbs to the mat but Gibbs just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Katipunan is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Gibbs gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Katipunan wants to take the fight to the mat but Gibbs manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Lj Gibbs has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andres Katipunan.

Gibbs turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Salcedo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Andersoon but Andersoon pushes him off and we're back to square one.
