These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Torry darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Torry is nestled in close to Cabrillo, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Rigatoni connects with a nice short shot to Whitechapel's temple.

Whitechapel tightens his grip and picks Rigatoni up, before dumping him to the ground. Rigatoni manages to land in guard.

Rigatoni manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Whitechapel manages to get himself to full guard.

Whitechapel isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Rigatoni stacks Whitechapel on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Rigatoni!

Rigatoni decides to stand back up. Rigatoni steps back and let's Whitechapel get back to his feet.
Rigatoni stalks Whitechapel and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Whitechapel's face. Whitechapel staggers backwards, shaken.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Rigatoni drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Whitechapel is rocked!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Rigatoni postures up and lands a big shot to Whitechapel's brow.
Whitechapel is still in real trouble! Can Rigatoni finish him?
Rigatoni loads up on a big left hand. Whitechapel felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Rigatoni looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Whitechapel can't hide his disappointment, as Rigatoni celebrates the victory.
