The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Evans shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Evans was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kulapu Kupula (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fernando Sela (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sela has chosen Darude - Sandstorm as his entrance music. Kulapu Kupula had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 186.9lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Kupula fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Sela avoids it really well and circles away.
Sela wants to clinch up but Kupula keeps it at a distance.

Sela lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kupula circles away quickly and effectively.
Kupula uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sela.
Kupula shoots in but Sela avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Kupula tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Sela swivels and escapes.

Kupula avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Sela rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kupula moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Sela shoots for a double leg takedown but Kupula sprawls well. He's pushed Sela's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Wilkinson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bagato looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Wilkinson tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Wilkinson wants to control but Bagato is keeping him busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
