Knotts kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is James Brown - Superbad. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winchester throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Nomor Gai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Winchester loads up on a big right hand but Gai slips the punch.
Winchester lands with a shot to the body.
Winchester keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Gai.
Winchester moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

It looks like Bruno Winchester has been cut.
Gai misses with a looping right.
Gai misses with a takedown attempt - Winchester sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Gai throws a hook to the side of Winchester's head but Winchester sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Nice takedown defense from Winchester. No joy for Gai on that attempt.

Gai shoots in for a takedown but Winchester shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Bruno Winchester has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nomor Gai.

Gai ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Winchester moves away.
Gai has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Winchester finds it's way round the side to connect with Gai's head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gai closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Gai shoots for a double leg takedown but Winchester sprawls well. He's pushed Gai's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Gai tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Winchester was well out of range. Poor timing from Gai.
Gai closes the distance and clinches up with Winchester, looking for a takedown. Gai pushes Winchester against the cage but Winchester circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Winchester drops Gai with a beautiful combination! Gai stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Winchester is looking for the KO!

Gai is rocked!

It looks like Nomor Gai has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Winchester scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Gai is still on wobbly legs! Can Winchester finish him?
Gai takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
BAM! Winchester delivers a spinning backfist that drops Gai like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
