The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dada throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Meathead's waist but Meathead gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dada off to one side.
Meathead throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dada fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Meathead avoids it really well and circles away.
Meathead tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Meathead tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Dada manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
A nice combination there by Dada.
Rick Meathead seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
