The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Lighting enables Kelly to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Lighting manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Lighting looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Kelly trying to control the position from guard on top but Lighting is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Kelly really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Lighting avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Kelly drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kelly jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Kelly stands and throws Lighting's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Kelly creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Lighting sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Kelly throws a strike aimed at the side of Lighting's head but Lighting avoids it well.
Kelly has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Zuberi jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Zuberi throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Drago was covering up waiting for the punch and Zuberi finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Zuberi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Drago swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Drago thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
