Tulfo closes the distance and clinches up with Moon, looking for a takedown. Tulfo pushes Moon against the cage but Moon circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Tulfo shoots in looking for a takedown. Moon tries to sprawl out of it but Tulfo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Moon manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Tulfo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Moon sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tulfo somewhat.

Moon feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Tulfo sprawling to the canvas! Tulfo rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Moon finish him?!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tulfo shoots in looking for a takedown but Moon manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Tulfo's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Tulfo dives in and grabs Moon's left leg, looking for a takedown. Moon pushes down on Tulfo's head and hops out.
Tulfo is breathing heavily.
Moon looks to score with a jab to the body but Tulfo is just out of range.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Moon drops Tulfo with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Tulfo looks back up at him and smiles so Moon waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Tulfo is rocked!
Tulfo backs away from a small jab... but Moon lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Tulfo crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Moon with a spectacular finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Maxxi Moon!
