I think Sagdiyev might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Mamaliga. Gabriel Silva is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Silva misses.
Sagdiyev throws a body punch but Silva moves out of range.
Sagdiyev ducks under a wild hook from Silva.
Nice defenses there by Sagdiyev.
Sagdiyev keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Silva.
Sagdiyev lands with an uppercut that bounces Silva off the cage and back into range.

It looks like Gabriel Silva has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Sagdiyev counters with a big uppercut that knocks Silva off his feet! Sagdiyev dives into side control looking to finish!

Lack throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Lack scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

Chavez tries to bum rush Lack with a series of wild strikes but Lack uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Good exchange - Chavez coming out on top.
Lack thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Chavez if he has to take too many more of those.
Lack moves into range and connects with a jab.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lack goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Chavez throws a series of punches but Lack avoids them all with ease.

Lack jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Chavez walks away with a smile on his face. Lack gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mentoleo is defended easily by Mario.
