Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony Tomisino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randolf Vicious (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Tomisino might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to St. Anger by Metallica. Randolf Vicious told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Vicious throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Tomisino stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Newton misses with a takedown attempt - Cunnings sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Newton shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Cunnings as he avoids it easily.
Cunnings shoots in for a double leg but Newton sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Cruise Newton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Cunnings stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Cunnings wants it to stay on the feet.

and Cunnings counters with a shoot takedown. Newton fights it but they end up in guard.

Cunnings drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Cunnings jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fedorov shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Ice Cold napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Fedorov content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Ice Cold wants to control but Fedorov postures up.
Fedorov wants to control but Ice Cold is keeping him busy.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ice Cold can do anything to dispel that myth.

We're going to have a standup here because Alexander Fedorov wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Fedorov throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ice Cold's waist but Ice Cold gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Fedorov off to one side.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fedorov gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Fedorov fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Fedorov takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Fedorov takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Ice Cold lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Ice Cold plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

It looks like Alexander Fedorov has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ice Cold's jab looks to have found its range, popping Fedorov under the eye.

Fedorov is rocked!
Fedorov drops his hands for a split second and Ice Cold immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Fedorov face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Ice Cold follows up with a right hand that knocks Fedorov into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Vanilla Ice Cold!
