The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Iram is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Fernandez stalks Iram and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Iram's face. Iram staggers backwards, shaken.

Fernandez drops Iram with a beautiful combination! Iram stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Fernandez is looking for the KO!

It looks like Alex Iram has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Iram throws an overhand right that lands on Fernandez's shoulder, as Fernandez tries to avoid the shot.
Fernandez throws a head kick that misses.
Some wild striking there from Iram.
Fernandez throws a series of punches but Iram moves out of range.
Fernandez fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Iram has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Iram avoids a punch combination nicely.
