Lake shoots in for a double leg but Archangel sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Lake shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Archangel sprawls well. Archangel wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lake gets slowly back to his feet.
Archangel leaves Lake with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Cross Archangel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Lake.

Lake is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Archangel is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Lake has hold of Archangel's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Archangel tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Lake cranks the arm and Archangel screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Archangel, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tree can do anything to dispel that myth.

Tree scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Tree lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but McGrabbin circles away quickly and effectively.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting McGrabbin here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
