Nakkeli throws out a loose jab but Yeerum uses good head movement to avoid it.

Yeerum steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Nakkeli.
Yeerum tests Nakkeli's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Yeerum tries to close the distance and clinch up but Nakkeli swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Nakkeli throws a looping overhand right but Yeerum ducks down to avoid it.

Yeerum creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Nakkeli's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Nakkeli drops to his knees and Yeerum pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Curry slips a straight right by Imamu.
Curry uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Imamu.
A swing and a miss from Imamu.
Curry dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Imamu. That did some damage!
Curry avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Imamu scores with a body shot.
Imamu swings for the body but Curry moves out of range.
Left hook, right uppercut from Imamu.

and Curry counters with a nice double leg into guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Curry wants to pass the guard but Imamu is keeping the position.
Imamu utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Imamu is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Curry is controlling him.

Imamu stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Imamu wants it to stay on the feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Imamu steps into range and cracks Curry with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Curry flops backwards and Imamu dives into his guard looking to finish!

Curry is rocked!
Imamu really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Curry. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Curry is working an open guard so Imamu takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Oh Curry is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Curry throws a sloppy head kick
and Imamu rattles Curry with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Curry tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Imamu dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Curry stiff and motionless on the mat!
