The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penn throws a nice looking combination but Williams bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Williams throws a shot from downtown. Penn moves away and avoids it.
Penn swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Williams.

It looks like Stephen Williams has been cut.
Penn fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Williams on the side of the head.
Williams avoids a punch combination nicely.
Penn throws a series of strikes that have Williams backpedaling.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Williams takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Stephen Williams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Penn lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Penn throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Williams stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Well James has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
