The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Willams takes the fight into the clinch.
Willams lands an uppercut.
Willams fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Nogueira tries to score a body lock takedown but Willams shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Nogueira blocks an elbow strike.
Willams misses with an elbow over the top.
Willams tries a knee to the head but Nogueira blocks it.

Nogueira takes an elbow to the temple.

Nogueira is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Willams is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Willams got a little sloppy there for a moment and Nogueira has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Willams has managed to get both his arms back between Nogueira's legs - danger averted.

Nogueira shoots for a double leg takedown but Willams sprawls well. He's pushed Nogueira's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Nogueira closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Nogueira is looking for a kimura but Willams is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Nogueira to get the leverage.

Nogueira has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Willams defend it? Nogueira steps over the head and cranks it - Willams is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Nogueira!
