Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ilnur Ilias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Tungsten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ilias might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Rob Dougan - Clubbed to Death 2. Ilnur Ilias has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ilias tries to bum rush Tungsten with a series of wild strikes but Tungsten uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Ilias throws a left and a right that both miss

and Tungsten counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Tungsten drops back, looking for a kneebar! Ilias looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Ilias looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Ilias!

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from DiBiase lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Head has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Head and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vasyuk swings for the body but Nara moves out of range.
Vasyuk scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Nara doesn't seem bothered though.

Nara takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Nara shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Vasyuk as he jumps to the side.
Vasyuk does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jr connects with a good right hand that stumbles Di Santo. Di Santo circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

It looks like Franco Di Santo has been cut.
Di Santo steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Jr.
Murdock Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jr throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Di Santo sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Di Santo bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Di Santo takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
