Moony really wants to buck Marks off and get back to his feet.
Moony is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Marks working for a submission but Moony is keeping him at bay.
Moony's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Marks is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Moony to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Moony shrugs it off.
Marks won't let Moony get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Marks is working for a guillotine from mount but Moony frees his head quite easily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Marks moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Moony has worked his arm free - good work by Moony!

Marks has an Americana. Moony didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Marks is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Marks hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Levitan feints and then cracks Smith's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Smith down.

Levitan lands a big head kick that sends Smith tumbling to the mat! Levitan takes a step backwards and waves Smith back to his feet - he wants the finish!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Smith wants to stay close but Levitan steps back to make room for something. Smith seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Levitan and Smith drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!

It looks like Chuck Monster has been cut.
Gump swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Gump tries to bum rush Monster with a series of wild strikes but Monster uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Gump lands a glancing blow to the side of Monster's head.
Monster doesn't manage to clinch there - Gump circles away.
Gump throws a lazy uppercut

and Monster decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Gump's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Ramirez from any more punishment! Ramirez complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
