The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alberto throws a head kick that misses.

Delight gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Delight makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Alberto tries to pull guard but Delight holds him up against the ropes and eventually Alberto drops back down to his feet.

Delight breaks from the clinch.
Delight throws a head kick but Alberto moves out of range.
Delight lands a jab to the nose.
Delight throws a nice inside leg kick.

Delight moves into the clinch.
A nice right hand lands inside from Delight.

Alberto ties up his opponent against the ropes and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Alberto no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Delight is looking to work some ground and pound but Alberto has wrist control.
Alberto tries to land a sweep but no joy.

That was a close round but I would say that Carlos Alberto will probably get the nod.

Alberto isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Delight stacks Alberto on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Delight!

Dutch Delight has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
A nice combination there by Delight.
Delight feints a jab promting Alberto to slip. Delight then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Alberto slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Oh Alberto is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Delight scores with a shoulder strike.
Delight throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Albertos head.
Delight lands with a short head shot on the inside.

Delight manages to break the clinch.
No joy there for Delight, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Alberto tries to keep at a distance but Delight has taken the fight into the clinch.
Alberto tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Alberto drops his hands for a split second and Delight immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Alberto face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Delight follows up with a right hand that knocks Alberto into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!

Kamei throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Hannon shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kamei sprawls well. Kamei wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hannon gets slowly back to his feet.
Hannon wants to clinch
and Hannon takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Koichi Kamei seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kamei throws the left hand but Hannon avoids the punch easily.

Hannon walks into a stiff left hand from Kamei.
Kamei throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Hannon on the side of the head.

Kamei cracks Hannon with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the ropes! Hannon falls to his knees and Kamei doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Gomi walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Takanori Gomi.
Well Gomi has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
