The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snegov lands a nice leg kick that just misses Brown's sensitive parts.
Brown shoots for a takedown but Snegov saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Brown tries to work over Snegov's front leg with a kick but Snegov checks it.
Snegov throws a series of punches but Brown moves out of range.
A combination from Snegov does no damage.
Brown throws a leg kick but Snegov moved away.
Brown throws the kick towards the body but Snegov avoids it.

Snegov throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Brown counters with a shoot takedown. Snegov fights it but they end up in guard.
Snegov seems keen to control Brown's posture.
Brown lands a couple of elbows.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Snegov escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Brown gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Snegov really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Brown accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Ricky Lee was going to win. Let's see if he was right.
