The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cameron circles away from the clinch attempt.
Awesome throws a sloppy head kick and Cameron moves out of range easily.

Cameron closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Awesome did well to prevent Cameron getting side control.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Hewitt feints with a jab and clips St Pierre right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! St Pierre is sent crashing into the canvas and Hewitt leaps in for the kill! St Pierre tries to get to his feet but Hewitt is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that St Pierre is in need of a savior and steps in!
